Carinda was accompanied on the album by some of Australia’s finest musicians, Ben Hakalitz on drums (Youthi Yindi), Giles Smith on Bass (Dragon/John Williamson to name a few) and Natalie Bliss on harmonies and guest vocals. Shakimra on flute and Russell Harris on Trumpet.
Independant folk-rock-blues-pop band The General Electryk formed busking on the streets of Byron Bay in 2008 and have since been writing songs for travelling folk, laced with French poésie. The band is comprised of Mélanie, a French-Canadian singer/songwriter and Angus Donnelly, the Australian drumming sensation, along with collaborators such as Jason Ryan, Marc D. Muir, Noureddine Ismag and Shem Aitken.
This album was created to support the people who survived the Tsunami and help to rebuild their lives, Sound Foundation is working with the AFAP and independent artists to create this album which we know you will enjoy.
They say all good things come to those who wait, and Mark Furze reckons he’s on a good thing. He is launching the next phase of his career with childhood mate Travis New, in the band they have been dreaming about since they were 12 years old. So it appears the wait is over.
This series of Synchronicity soundtracks is the slowest, most continually meditative music available. May be used with headphones for expansive Theta level meditation or as deeply relaxing, ambient background for massage, yoga, etc. Each soundtrack consists of two 30-minute selections. Sounds of Source Volume Two uses ambient sampled voice and instruments to produce a very spatial, other-worldly meditative experience.

Since Alternate Roots Powerhouse Dallas Frasca hit the scene in Dec 2005 when she released her debut solo EP ‘Acoustic Slide Groove’, she has oblivorated 4 stomp boxes, cooked 2 P.A’s and melted one guitar amp, clocking up over 30,000kms of touring around Australia.
Every now and then you will find an artist who is able to achieve an amazing connection with his listeners, and Nathan Kaye has a truly unique effect on his audience. Listening to this album I was torn between the numerous aspects that make up his album; the complex and beautiful music.
Afro Dizzi Act is pleased to announce the release of their new EP 'Welcome Speech'. It was written as a reflection of our times whilst the band was touring throughout North East India. 'Welcome Speech' features pure world funk flavours. On the EP it is accompanied by dance floor starter 'Let Yourself Go' as remixed by Dave Dog (Resin Dogs) and a 9 minute psychedelic jam titled 'Rainbows'. Both 'Welcome Speech' and 'Let Yourself Go' are also released on an American pressed, limited edition vinyl 7" single, available exclusively through Butter Beats.
