About - The Wells
the Wells are a five-piece Indie Rock Band that started gigging around Brisbane mid 2005. They perform original material (written by brothers Ben & Josh Eckersley) which displays great pop sensibility with big dirty smears of Blues and Country… and these boys can really sing. Their focus on vocal harmonies and catchy melodic hooks add a great depth to the band’s overall appeal, as their densely layered instrumentation enriches each song. They hail from the sleepy country-town of Lismore, NSW and slowly migrated to the city of Brisbane after they heard they still accept food stamps up here.
