“mizair” is the name of Garry's current project. It began nearly ten years ago when Garry and co-producer/engineer David Hemming recorded some demos of a few of Garry's songs, including “Songlines” a feature track on the current CD. Early in 2002, OKA released their debut CD 'elements'. It has gone on to sell thousands and thousands of copies to people from all over the world. It was produced at Ground Control Studios, Australia by Geir Gunnarrson and Oka. There were a number of guest artists on the album, including Harii Bandhu, who was one of the seed planters for this whole musical revolution.
Tommee was touring his newest album, Recipe, which was inspired by palumara, a fish soup from his home island of Sumbawa. Each track is named after an ingredient in the soup and, by the sound of the album, it is one tasty dish.
