She’s The One’ follows from the band’s successful release of the ‘Love Junkie’ EP in 2005. 'Love Junkie' EP received great press reviews, the latest being in national surf magazine, TRACKS, (Jan 2006 issue) alongside Wolfmother and others. The Honey Palace was also recently featured in two issues of music magazine, HOT-PRESS.
The Mago - This instrument (the didjeridu) is known as Mago in the Mayali language group of Western and Southern Arnhem Land. In Mayali, the word Mago also means night bird, or Owl. Darryl's home, Western Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory of Australia, is the original birthplace of the Mago.
Early in 2002, OKA released their debut CD 'elements'. It has gone on to sell thousands and thousands of copies to people from all over the world. It was produced at Ground Control Studios, Australia by Geir Gunnarrson and Oka. There were a number of guest artists on the album, including Harii Bandhu, who was one of the seed planters for this whole musical revolution.
